A Grammar revision course 86 ”Think About It” is a revision course for intermediate level students. Twenty key ”problem areas” of English have been identified by the authors. Each of these is covered extensively in one of the 4-page units, which are divided into two sections: Language Awareness and Language Practice. The Language Awareness section explains the grammar and use of each language item. The Language Practice section contains exercises which move from controlled mechanical exercises to more communicative and contextualised activities. A key feature of the text is the transfer to the student’s own culture, and the use of comparisons with the mother tongue to highlight features of English.
